Geography and History of the setting

This is the story of my campain world telling you what you need to know about the world and the campain. This world will use various aspects of the default world setting of the D&D4e and other things that have been mentioned in past d&d and other table top rpgs. like Greyhawk and Fallcrest but this would be only done if im stumped for names.

this might be boring but id like to get you to know the lay out of the setting.
This campain is set on the continent of Aroesia which is of equivelent size to
Modern day europe The continent is split in to kingdoms and territories. on the western most edge of the continent is Lordremar the human kingdom. north east is the Dwarven kingdom of Mordan
south of Mordan and south east of Lordremar is Sylv the Fey kindoms shared by the Elves, Eladrin
and other races of feywild origin. In The middle of these three kigdoms is Goldmeddow which is smaller than the other three, governed by the Halflings (think of the shire from the lord of the rings). on the east are the territories, east of Mordan northeast of Sylv is Hilgigar the mountainous territories of the Goliaths. South Hilgigar is Taurenus the Minotaur territroies.
and lastly south of Taurenus, Bogmire the great swamp where various strange creatures reside.

Lordremar has five factions each governing a 1/5 of lordremar.
In north western Lordremar is Arcanix the Magical land, most magic users like wizards or sorcerers come from there.
North eastern was Darrowmere which borders with Mordan but has recently been dubbed the black lands. 36 years ago it was once a more superior faction to Arcanix in tehcnology and magic. but is now a landscape of shadow and evil some surviving Darrowmerans still try to live there defending there villages from the undead and demons that dwell there.
In southern Lordremar is Aundair, South east boardering with Sylv is Droaam, And South west is Gahlt. in the center of Lordremar is the Capital Greyhawk.
